Johnson Community Contributions

We’re passionate about our people, products and community. Because we live and work here, we want the very best for our friends and neighbors. That’s why you’ll frequently see our staff out in the community supporting causes that matter to us.

Our entire Johnson team, ownership and employees, dedicate time all year round - giving back to the Johnson County Community. We are very grateful for all our residential and business customers in all of Central Indiana, yet we have a special connection to Johnson County with our company having started in Greenwood, Indiana back in 1968 - and remaining in Greenwood to this day.

Take a look at what we’re doing in the community, more so, for you to join us and learn more about how you can give back and help cultivate a better future for Johnson County and its surrounding areas. We’re proud to be a southern Indiana family owned company. Here are some of the community projects and organizations we support and have supported over several years.

The Give Back Gals fund was established to give women a way to give back to the community through an all ladies golf outing. The fundraiser supports Leadership Johnson County, JCCF and Habitat for Humanity of Johnson County.

Girls Incorporated is a national nonprofit youth organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. With roots dating to 1864, Girls Inc has provided vital educational programs to millions of American girls, particularly those in high-risk, undeserved areas. Today, innovative programs help girls confront subtle societal messages about their value and potential, and prepare them to lead successful, independent, and fulfilling lives.

The Lyons family in Greenwood, Indiana – lost their home to a devastating fire. This past April 2011, Johnson Heating, Cooling and Plumbing’s entire management team and our entire team of technicians donated their time to the custom new construction indoor comfort installation process. Johnson purchased all the necessary equipment to install an air duct system with brand new heating and cooling equipment. We would like to thank the Trane Corporation for donating the furnace and air conditioning units.

The Greenwood Public Library is one of Johnson County’s greatest resources for our Greenwood families and individuals. The entire Johnson staff took a tour of the library and discovered a seemingly infinite amount of free to the public educational materials, fun activities and wholesome entertainment options. We are proud to be the exclusive sponsor of Greenwood Public Library’s Pre-School Story Time program through the year 2016. This ensures you and your children can attend several adventurous and fun story time sessions throughout the year, at no cost to the public.

Our Johnson Team is also proud to be a long time sponsor of the Greenwood Freedom Festival Street Parade that takes place every June in downtown Greenwood. We really enjoy seeing all the families that come out to experience this Greenwood Summertime tradition.

Our passion is to provide support today and in the future toward community efforts that encourage and help those going through difficult times. We firmly believe in contributing to a safe, family friendly environment, for all Johnson County residents.
